Our StrategyThe Southwark Supporting People five year strategy tells you
- What the priorities are for supported housing in Southwark until 2010
- How we will deliver supported housing in Southwark
- What the current and future needs of the borough are in terms of supported housing
- How we need to develop our portfolio of supported housing
Main themes of the strategy
The main themes of the strategy are to
- Provide a varied portfolio of suitable temporary and permanent supported accommodation
- Refocus resources from unsuitable shared accommodation to new 'floating' support services, i.e. services that can visit people in their own home
- Ensure that the supported housing needs of Southwark’s diverse community are met
- Align Supporting people services with related local strategies and plans.
