Strategic forum
The supporting people's commissioning body receives advice from a number of sub groups. These groups are made up of partner agencies and, where possible, representatives of people who use our services. These groups make up a strategic forum that provides specialist knowledge for the programme and helps in the development of supported housing.
The commissioning body sub groups are
- The place to live group
This is an accommodation sub group of the learning disabilities partnership board.
- The mental health accommodation sub group
This is a sub group of the mental health partnership board.
- The vulnerable adults (socially excluded) group
This group covers a range of different client groups including single homeless people with support needs, people with low level mental health issues and people with drug and alcohol misuse problems.
- The older persons steering committee
- The young peoples sub group
- The physical and sensory disabilities sub group
The physical and neurological disabilities partnership board has decided that this group will become an accommodation sub group of the partnership board.
- The domestic violence forum
Black, Minority and Ethnic (BME) issues are further considered by a three borough provider forum that includes Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth.
