Housing Strategy and Statistics

Southwark Council and the Southwark Housing Strategic Partnership have just  developed a new housing strategy which covers all tenures. This was developed in consultation with residents and partners and we are very grateful for all the comments we received.

  All local authorities have to submit this form annually. It contains data on housing stock, homelessness, lettings and housing investment

• The Homelessness Review 2008/09 (pdf 126kb)
  The Government said that Local authorities need to review their homelessness strategies by July 2008. The Homelessness Strategy is incorporated in the Housing Strategy 2005 to 2010. The sections on homelessness were reviewed focusing on identified gaps, emerging issues or trends and any issues arising out of the equalities impact assessment of homelessness and temporary accommodation services.
