Homeless ServiceOur promise
To provide a high quality, efficient and accessible homeless service that treats you with respect.
We will
- In an emergency, see you on the same day that you approach us, or visit you within 24 hours if you are unable to come to our offices
- Give you an appointment within five days in less urgent cases, or arrange to visit you within ten days, if you are unable to come to our offices
- Make a decision on your homelessness application within 33 days, once we have received all the
necessary documentation
- Give you 21 days to appeal if we refuse your application, and give you a decision on the appeal in writing within 56 days
- If you have special needs we will refer you for an assessment within 24 hours of registering
