Our goal is to help provide real and affordable housing solutions, but we now know that we cannot possibly hope to achieve this alone. We need local landlords and agents with properties across South East London to get on board with us. To help us achieve this, we have put together an attractive package of incentive schemes to provide landlords with what they need to help us.
Our short term schemes
We have simplified our schemes (pdf 112kb) and now offer landlords two main packages. Our packages are put together to give real choice and flexibility as well as peace of mind. Take a look and see what we can offer.
GOLD package (Rent Deposit Scheme)
This package offers many benefits for busy landlords. With this option, you can relax and let us take some of the strain. Main benefits of the package include:
- FREE service (NO fees or commission)
- FREE LHA/Housing Benefit fast track service
- FREE Inspection reports (Pre/Post)
- Loyalty and retention bonus payments
- Non-refundable welcome payments of £300 for new landlords
- Holding deposit equivalent to 4 weeks' rent
This package requires landlords of part furnished properties of any size in the Southwark area only, willing to offer at least 12 months' tenancy with renewal option.
SILVER package (Finders Fee schemes)
Our silver package will help you to tenant your property quickly and keep it tenanted. You will also be able to choose your tenants yourself from those we introduce to you. Other benefits include:
- FREE service (NO fees or commission)
- FREE LHA/Housing Benefit fast track service
- Incentive payment for you to keep
- Named officer contact
This package requires non-resident landlords of unfurnished, part or fully furnished rooms, bedsits/studios or 1, 2 bedroom or larger properties across South East London and willing to offer 12 months' tenancy with renewal option.
Extra benefits if you come on board
Signing up as one of our landlords will mean you have access to further benefits! As one of our valued landlords, we want to develop a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with you so that together, we can ensure that we are providing top quality housing solutions. Here are some of the extra benefits we offer:
- Access to information and support about accreditation
- Exclusive invitations to special events such as our Landlord Forum
- Opportunities to join our mailing list to receive regular mailshots and updates
- Access to expert support and advice if you need it
- Advice on new legislation and procedures.
Our longer term or 'Private Sector Leasing Scheme'
This scheme is suitable for landlords who have a property they would like to let over the longer term with the minimum amount of fuss. This makes it ideal for landlords who may be extra busy or who may spend large amounts of time abroad, for example. You must be prepared to offer a minimum three years' lease on your part or fully furnished property in or around the Southwark area. In return, you will receive:
- Guaranteed rent for 3 or 5 year lease period (whether tenanted or not)
- Guaranteed vacant possession
- Property returned in good condition
- LHA/Housing benefit support
This scheme is run in partnership with Orchard and Shipman Ltd and Hyde Housing Association.
