How Can I Make a Claim? To claim housing, council tax benefit or 2nd adult rebate you will need to complete and sign an application form and, in most cases, provide supporting evidence.
If you wish to claim both housing benefit and council tax benefit/2nd adult rebate you will not need to complete a separate application for each.
The only exception to this is if your landlord is the Corporation of London. In this situation you will need to submit a claim for housing benefit to the Corporation of London benefits section and a claim for council tax benefit/2nd adult rebate to Southwark Council.
