Benefit Advice for StudentsIf you are a full time student you will not be eligible to claim housing or council tax benefit unless you also fall within one of the following categories
- Couples or lone parents who are responsible for a child or young person
- Disabled
- Under 19 following a further, not higher, course
- Aged 60 or more
- Receiving income support or income based Job Seekers Allowance
