Your Council Tax BillAt the beginning of each financial year the council tax will be set for each property band and a council tax bill will be issued to each of the liable people. The council tax runs from April through to March of the following year. If you become liable during this time you will be sent a bill for the remaining period.
The council tax bill will show
- The name of the liable people
- The property address
- The property banding
- The period of the charge
- A reference number
- The amount of council tax
- Any council tax reductions and their amounts
