It is essential that you tell the Council Tax section immediately about any changes affecting your bill, as the amount you have to pay is worked out on a daily basis.
Some examples of changes you must tell us about are
- You move out
- You are no longer responsible for the property
- You no longer qualify for a discount/exemption
- A person who is jointly liable to pay the bill moves out
- Your correspondence address alters
If you have moved or are no longer responsible for the property you can  download a 'Moving Home' form (PDF, 58kb). When you have printed and completed the form please hand it in at our office or send it to us by post at:

Once we have all of the information we need we will amend our records and send you a revised bill.
