Use your 'ed safety campaignThe use your 'ed personal safety campaign in 2005, was so successful we have created another campaign which identifies issues of safety affecting younger people. The campaign, originally targeted at 18 year olds in Southwark's colleges, now offers personal safety advice to 11 to 16 year olds in Southwark's secondary schools.
The campaign will include stickers, travel wallets and booklets with useful advice and these will be handed out in secondary schools by community wardens and police safer neighbourhood teams in early October.
Advice on the following areas will be available as part of this campaign
- Street sense and road safety
- Guarding your gadgets, mobile phones etc
- Travelling safety
- Knives
- Smoking, drugs and alcohol
- Private fostering

- Respect and relationships
