Community WardensSouthwark's community warden scheme provides a visible reassurance for the community. The 90 strong warden team are based across Southwark's eight community council areas
The team work hard to provide a strong presence in the community and tackle issues from antisocial behaviour to improving the environment and creating close community links.
Southwark's wardens work closely with officers from the Council, the Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade to create a cleaner, greener and safer borough.
First class training for our wardens
Southwark has a warden's training and resource centre, with a team of expert practitioners supporting London with delivery of the community renewal agenda.
Southwark's London Training and Resource Centre is the first line of support and guidance to neighbourhood wardens and can offer sustainability of wardens nationally. They have a superior training programme, benchmark best practice and offering specialist service improvement consultancy.
