Tackling violent crime

This includes asking them for changes to the law around housing, the way we work with schools and promoting employment opportunities - all to help make Southwark's streets safer.

Simple tips to reduce your risk of crime
We have put togther some simple tips to help reduce your risk of becoming a victim of crime, including safety at home, personal safety, and safety on the street.
If you're concerned about racial violence, domestic violence or homophobic crime or anti-social behaviour, you will find some useful information and contacts.
Southwark residents tell us the crime and the fear of crime is one of their main concerns. We are working in partnership with the police, fire service, victim support, and other agencies such as the Safer Southwark Partnership (SSP) to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse.
