Keeping Safe in Southwark
There are simple tips to reduce your risk of becoming a victim of crime, including safety at home, personal safety and safety on the street.
If you're concerned about racial violence, domestic violence or homophobic crime or anti-social behaviour you'll find information about what they are and how to report any type of crime. An A-Z of services provides contacts if you need support or advice, and we've also included links to useful websites.
Southwark residents tell us the crime and the fear of crime is one of their main concerns. To address this, we're working in partnership with the police, fire service, victim support, and other agencies such as the Safer Southwark Partnership (SSP) to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse.
We're aiming to make a real difference to people who live work or play in Southwark. For detailed information about SSP activities visit the Safer Southwark Partnership website.
