Equality and Human Rights Commission

On October 1 2007 the three equality commissions, Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), merged into the new Equality and Human Rights Commission.

The websites of these commissions have also been incorporated into the new Equality and Human Rights Commission website.

Operation Black Vote

Operation Black Vote is a non-party political campaign which aims to encourage members of the Black community to vote and participate in democratic processes. It also seek to confront politicians with the reality of what it means to be Black in Britain and the inequality of opportunity faced by Black people.
