Age Positive

Age Positive is part of the Department for Work and Pensions.  It is responsible for strategy and policies to support people making decisions about working and retirement.  The Age Positive campaign promotes the benefits of employing a mixed-age workforce.  The website also provide information for employers on age discrimination in employment.

Age Concern Southwark

Age Concern Southwark's main activities include day centre programmes for older people, information and advice, homecare and a Macmillan palliative care service. They also campaign on issues that affect older people, such as age discrimination, transport and housing.  Age Concern Southwark is an independent charity, not to be confused with the "umbrella" organisation Age Concern England.

Help the Aged

Help the Aged research's the needs of older people in the UK and overseas and campaign for changes in policy. They provide community services and publish information for the elderly on finance, how to stay healthy as well as guidance on choosing a care home.
