Hate crime
No one should be harassed, abused or attacked because of who they are or what they believe. Racial, homophobic behaviour, domestic and sexual violence are hate crimes.

Discrimination
No one should have to put up with discrimination. Southwark's equality scheme has been written to ensure that the council meets its statutory duties to eliminate discrimination. If you think you have been discriminated against, you should contact the relevant service manager and follow the council's complains procedure.
