Corporate Assessment 2008This section of the site is dedicated to the corporate assessment (CA) taking place this year. The CA is the Audit Commission's inspection of how well the council is run and looks at how well we, together with our partners, deliver services.
It happens every three to four years and feeds into our comprehensive performance assessment rating.
It is happening this year at the same time as a single coordinated inspection of all children and young people's services called a joint area review, which also feeds into our comprehensive performance assessment rating.
What does the CA include?
The inspection will look at five key themes
- Our ambition for the borough
- How we prioritise what we do with our resources
- Our capacity to deliver our plans
- How we manage our performance by monitoring how well we are doing
- What we have achieved so far
