Declaration of Councillors' InterestsUnder the Local Government Act 2000 and the  Southwark Code of Conduct for Members, all members are required to register and declare interests as well as any gifts or hospitality received. This requirement applies to elected members and co-opted members (those who are not members of the authority but sit on any committee and vote at meetings).
The council maintains a register of these declared interests and this register is open for public inspection.
