Councillor Denise Capstick's portfolio aims to improve the health of the borough and safeguard the needs of vulnerable adults. Included are health promotion, personal social services, services to older people, people with disabilities, those with HIV/AIDS and/or those with drug and alcohol problems, those with mental health needs, the 'Supporting People' programme, homelessness and sheltered housing.
