I see Southwark
A photographic exhibition showcasing the many faces of Southwark is coming to the borough.
The Faces of Southwark exhibition will take place from April 17 to May 1 at Dulwich Picture Gallery, Gallery Road, London, SE21 7AD.
This free exhibition is open for people to view more than 50 creative snapshots of Southwark and to get a flavor of Southwark and its rich diversity.
It is a great opportunity to see Southwark historically captured by the community and for residents, tourists and photographic enthusiasts to see the heart of Southwark.
Leader of Southwark Council, Councillor Nick Stanton, will host the exhibition launch on April 17 and is privileged to have chosen this year's theme.
Fashion photographer, Kristian Schuller, visual artist, Caron Geary and Don't Panic Media's Joe Wade, will judge the winners, to be revealed at a special awards ceremony on April 26.
The only criteria for entering the competition was all images had to be of locations in or around the Southwark borough.
The exhibition is a council event funded through community councils.
