Power outage

Areas of Southwark have been affected by a power outage since midday May 27 2008. Some council offices and housing estates were among the areas without power.

EDF are on site and have now confirmed that power has been restored in the affected areas. The council's emergency planning team worked closely with EDF to limit disruption to residents and businesses in the area.
