Write into Your Life

Write into your life brings poetry and writing with an environmental theme into Southwark's open spaces and streetscene.

The aim is to get people thinking about the environment, sustainability plus cleaner and greener messages through provoking ideas which capture people’s imaginations.

Two year programme

Winning poems and messages from Southwark residents will be presented in Southwark’s streetscene in Bankside and Borough, Camberwell and Walworth alongside those from professional poets. This will be the start of a two year programme with new poems and messages being presented at regular intervals.

The poems and messages must promote awareness of environmental issues, or have a ‘cleaner and greener’ or sustainability theme. There will also be creative writing activities in libraries as well as children's competitions and treasure hunts.

Details on how to submit your poems will be available shortly, so get writing!
