Planning an Event?

Crowd at Rise Festival
There are many things you need to consider when planning an event such as hiring a venue, applying for the proper licences and making sure that you have all of the necessary health and safety precautions in place.

You will also need to make sure your event is accessible to everyone and consider how best to promote your event.

Of course, before any of this can happen, you will probably need to find the money to pay for it all and apply for some funding.

Good events are worth shouting about so it is important to properly evaluate and document your event.

Need some help?

The events team at Southwark try where possible to provide advice and support to events organisers in Southwark.  As part of this we have been trialing a series of training courses known as Revealed.  Please see the Revealed page for more information.
