BoundlessSouthwark's inclusive arts, sports and culture festival
Southwark Disability Forum and Southwark Council are making a final call out to cultural organisations and venues within Southwark to participate in Boundless 2008. If you are an organisation that is led by or works with disabled people or if you have an accessible venue in Southwark then we’d like you to be involved in Boundless.
Get into the programme
If you have a suitable project, show, exhibition or activity that we could promote during Boundless 2008 we can include your event in our programme. Events included will be highlighted extensively through the 15,000 printed copies of the programme, on this website, through press and media work and through our extensive network of partners and supporters across London.
To be considered for inclusion in the programme the activity must be taking place between Friday 12 and Sunday 21 September 2008.
This document requires Microsoft Word to open and edit it. If you would like to receive the submission form in another format please contact us at events@southwark.gov.uk
There's still time to get involved
Access for artists and audiences is paramount and many venues in 2007 used Boundless to show their commitment to disability arts and audiences. If you have an accessible venue in Southwark and have not yet considered joining Boundless but would like to become a partner on the programme we may be able to find something suitable for you to showcase or programme.
So if your venue is suitable and available during Boundless please contact Anila Ladwa on 020 7525 1006 or email anila.ladwa@southwark.gov.uk
What is Boundless?
Boundless is celebratory festival that showcases and profiles disability arts, sports and culture to an inclusive range of participants and audience across Southwark.
The first Boundless in 2007 saw a range of organisations and venues across Southwark take part including Tate Modern, Beam, Cooltan Arts, Imperial War Museum, BlindArt, Corali, Peckham Shed, B-Dark Inspirations, Corsica Studios, Siobahn Davies Dance Studios, Unity Centre, Harris Academy @ Peckham, Bede Centre and Dulwich Picture Gallery.
This September we hope to see more Southwark venues and organisations partner the festival to promote the work of the disabled community.
