Bermondsey Carnival 2008

Bermondsey Carnival 2008 was without doubt a huge success. More than 200 young people from Bermondsey and Rotherhithe created costumes and performed songs and dances for this year’s ‘Countdown to 2012’ themed carnival.

Thousands of spectators turned out to watch the colourful parade as it snaked and weaved its way through the streets of Bermondsey and on to Southwark Park to mark the opening of the annual music festival The Event.

A big thank you!

Bermondsey Carnival would not be possible without the support from groups that take part so special thanks go out to the following groups.
