Property DivisionSouthwark’s property division is divided into two business units: portfolio and development & regeneration.
Portfolio unit
The portfolio team offers a commercial property management service for the council’s various commercial interests, which include shops, warehouses and light industrial units. This includes responsibility for the day to day management of the council’s commercial estate including rent collection, the letting of vacant premises, dealing with lease renewals and rent reviews, granting licenses and consenting to assignments, under-lettings, alterations and change of use. Development and regeneration unit
The development and regeneration unit is made up of the following teams:

- Development team
- Projects team
- Review team

These teams are responsible for services including property ownership records, right to buy valuations, asset management of the council's land and property holdings, property sales, property review and other property related matters.
