Risk AssessmentsBusinesses that have either five or more employees, or staff that are considered at special risk, e.g. young workers, disabled workers, pregnant women and nursing mothers, are required by the management of health and safety at work regulations 1999 to document and make available to staff and inspecting officers any significant findings of risk assessments.
This includes general risk assessments and specific assessments for chemical safety, display screen equipment, electrical safety, fire safety, manual handling, noise at work, passive smoking at work, work equipment and workplace assessments.
