Toilet FacilitiesThe adequate provision of toilet facilities in workplaces is covered by Regulation 20 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992.
Provision of Toilet Facilities
Each WC must be connected to the drainage system and have a working flush mechanism. Toilets must be kept clean and in working order.
Toilets must have the following:
- adequate lighting
- adequate ventilation
- sanitary dressing disposal system (if there are female employees)
- toilet paper in a dispenser or on a holder
- coat hook
