Fire Safety NoticesNotices giving information about what to do in the event of a fire should be displayed on business premises. They must comply with BS 5499 'fire safety signs, notices and graphic symbols'.
Large 'No Smoking' signs should be prominently displayed in fire risk areas and this rule must be strictly enforced.
